FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: method is used during construction and repair of pipelines designed for transportation of water in cold and hot water-supply systems, as well as for transportation of petroleum, petroleum products, gases and various corrosive media. Pipeline is mounted of steel pipes with internal anticorrosive coating. Pipe ends free of coating are lined with bushings with subsequent welding of their ends, surfacing and welding of pipes. Recommendations for selection of bushing material for surfacing and welding of butt joints of pipes are presented. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of pipeline.
