FIELD: ventilation systems. SUBSTANCE: device includes exhaust hood and appliance for supply of plenum air to area where toxic admixtures are likely to be formed; it includes slotted nozzles located over perimeter of hood and oriented towards source of toxic admixtures; device is also provided with appliance for distribution of air from air supply duct to slotted nozzles. Air distributing appliance is made in form of distributing chamber located in center portion of hood and brought in communication with air supply duct; distributing chamber is provided with delivery branch pipes according to number of slotted nozzles; each delivery branch pipe is communicated with respective nozzles at point equidistant from faces of this nozzles. In preferable version, nozzles are provided with cellular tips; width "b" of slot of each nozzle is selected from relationship , where b is width of nozzle, m; F is area of hood cross section, sq.m; P is perimeter of hood, m; H is height of hood above toxic admixture source.
