GUARDING ALARM SYSTEM Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2103744 C1

FIELD: digital communication, local data transmission networks, in particular, theft-protection guarding systems for hotels, office houses, multiple dwelling houses, hospitals in emergency care rooms, rooms for elderly care and so on. SUBSTANCE: device has master controller, communication line, N groups of detectors each of which has B detectors. Groups of detectors are connected to each other and through interface unit to corresponding slave controllers of detectors each of which as well master controller are connected to communication line. Goal of invention is achieved by introduced control unit which provides mode switching in system, main slave controller for information input from all keys of rooms and room conditions, and additional slave controllers. Control unit for mode switching in system is connected to master controller. Main slave controller is used for input of information about movement of all keys from rooms and room conditions is connected to slave controllers of detectors, additional slave controllers and master controller through communication line. This results in possibility of distributed reading and processing of information. Most operations are implemented in software level. In addition system provides detection and repair of faults in 10-15 minutes due to indication of addresses of recoverable malfunctions and failures of controllers and units. EFFECT: increased speed of response to intrusion in monitored region, increased reliability, simplified design, increased number of monitored rooms, possibility of total control of rooms, increased efficiency of squad teams operations, increased speed of repair. 7 cl, 9 dwg
