GRINDING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2103862 C1

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has rotor 2 with hammers 4 pivotally suspended on pins 3, noncontinuous cylindrical deck 5 with openings 6 and 7 for communicating grinding chamber with sieving chambers 8, which are defined at three sides by sieve-like surface 9 and at fourth side by continuous surface. Decks 5 embrace sieving chambers 8, each being provided with turning plate 13 made in the form of Archimedes' spiral. Bulk material is delivered into housing 1, where it is crushed by hammers 4 and directed through openings 6 into sieving chambers 8, where small particles are sieved through openings of sieving surface 9. Underground product is returned by baffles 12 through openings 7 into grinding chamber for additional grinding. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
