CENTRIFUGAL CLASSIFICATOR Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is used for classification of non-metal ore materials (talc, mica, graphite, ochre) and in various other fields of economy. Centrifugal classificator has body, shaft installed in body which carries disk with blades in upper part and tapered deflector in lower part, distributor in the form of truncated cone with feeding pipe built in its upper small base, device for inlet and outlet of air and discharge of separated fractions. Classificator is provided with adjusting scoop-type guiding device located in lower part of feeding pipe. Blades of disk are installed at incline in horizontal plane as to disk radius in direction of disk rotation or opposite to it. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 dwg
