FIELD: composite materials. SUBSTANCE: heat-insulation composite material to manufacture boards used in construction of residential, industrial, and administrative buildings consists of the mixture of paper waste and wood filler at weight ratio 1:(0.3-3.5) using as antiseptic clay fire retardant in proportion to summary weight of solid part of paper waste and wood filler from 1:4 to 1:40. To manufacture such material, 1 weight part of paper waste is mixed with 4-6 weight parts of water, mixture is loosened for 5-30 min, supplemented with 0.3-3.5 weight parts of wood filler, agitated, and clay in above-indicated proportion is added. Resultant mass is further agitated and used to shape boards which are compressed under pressure 0.001 to 0.02 MPa (1 to 20 atm), and dried. As paper waste, typography paper cuttings, carton production waste, and pure household paper waste are used, while wood filler utilized is wood waste ranging from finest sawdust to wood chips.
