FIELD: superconducting materials. SUBSTANCE: superconductor consists of oxides of bismuth, strontium, calcium, copper, and, optionally, lead in desired molar proportion plus 2-30% strontium and/or 1-20% barium sulfate (based on oxide weight). Components are thoroughly mixed, melted in crucible of platinum group metal at 870-1600 C, melt is poured out into properly shaped and sized up molds, and cooled. Shaped objects are removed from molds, annealed for 6 to 200 h at 700-900 C under oxygen-containing atmosphere. EFFECT: improved procedure. 7 cl, 2 tbl
