SUBSTANCE: folding apparatus uses a collecting cylinder with anticutting grooves, cutting cylinder at least with one blade engageable with the anticutting grooves, pulling rolls, web-guide appliance used for web-feeding, and a guide for further feeding of printed product to the valve cylinder. The web-guide appliance is made as a paper web guide system beginning just before or past the pulling rolls, adjoining the paper web unidirectionally on the side of the cutting cylinder directed over the collecting cylinder at an angle of 8 to 40 deg. and terminating just before the gap between the cylinders.
