FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: method implies use of processing machine for logs 10. In this machine, each log 10 is cut longitudinally and diametrically at right angles into equal segments - quarters 12 of log. Then segments - quarters 12 are located so that bow-shaped surfaces of segments are facing inside towards each other, and their flat cut surfaces 20, 22 are arranged to create rectangular cross-section. Segments - quarters located in aforesaid pattern are connected together. Devices 46, 50, 56 ensure levelled alignment and fastening of processed logs. Introduced into space between segments - quarters are supporting members 10. Hard foam-plastic thermal-insulating material can be filled into space between segments.
