FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: said utility invention relates to wooden log elements. A log has a ridge, lateral generatrices, and a longitudinal groove. The ridge surface is designed flat and parallel to the longitudinal groove surface. The transitions from the ridge to the lateral generatrices contain three flat sections, two of which form a polygonal line in their cross-sections, passing into the third section in the form of a horizontal pad. The transitions from the longitudinal groove to the lateral generatrices contain two sections, one of which is designed flat and is positioned at an angle to the longitudinal groove, and the other has a tooth-like shape and faces the inside of the log surface.
EFFECT: increased log abutment tightness and heat-insulating properties of wall.
