FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: coding mechanism of lock has spring-loaded coding and braking drums installed in its body with axial coaxial holes for pushers and spring-loaded pins. Coding drum is rotatable and carries shaft for connection with actuating mechanism of span-piece, and key for interaction with pushers. Coding and braking drums have longitudinal slots, and installed in body are guide pins which can interact with longitudinal slots. Coding and braking drums can displace axially. Coding drum has annular slot in its outer surface which communicates with its longitudinal slot for ensuring its rotation. Made in body are holes, and installed in body are braking springs which can move together with drums. Springs can come in contact with corresponding pair of pusher-pin. Additionally, braking spring can enter holes in body when in idle position. In working position, at longitudinal displacement of braking drum, braking springs can wedge between body and pusher-pin pair, thus jamming this pair from movement so as to prevent use of master-key.
