DISK HARROW Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2105443 C1

FIELD: agricultural machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: this relates to disk-type tilling implements. Disk harrow has frame 1 and gang 2 which is made up of axle 3 with disks 4 mounted on it. Located between disks 4 are spacer bushes 5, and one of them is made in the form of compression spring 6. Disks and bushes seated on axle are tightened together by nut 7, and due to this, spring is compressed to certain limit, and created between disks and spacer bushes and axle are frictional forces which hold them from displacement relative to each other. In case of occurring excessive reactive forces on separate disks, they overcome frictional force and turn relative to bushes. After reduction of forces to normal value, gang components are positioned stationary relative to each other. Permanent action of frictional force produced by determined compression of spring protects working members from breakage and excessive wear. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 dwg
