FIELD: smoking articles. SUBSTANCE: ash tray has at least one screen positioned on light-permeable surface of ash tray base and provided with reflective layer applied on screen outer surface faced to side opposite to ash tray casing cavity to create image of respective screen above its surface oriented to inner cavity of casing. Portion of at least one screen is made from color-carrying light transparent material having color other than that of casing material. Portion of face is covered with light transparent coat in the form of predetermined image having color other than that of material of screen. Screens may be arranged so that their outer contour defines predetermined image. Screen may be made from at least two sections formed as image parts, which may be arranged on curvilinear surface of casing at an angle one relative to another. At least one section of screen may have image elements arranged at pitch or/and focus other than pitch or/and focus of lens elements of remaining sections of screen. At least one lens element of at least one section or screen may have focus other than that of remaining lens elements of respective section or screen. At least one screen may be made from transparent material making part of ash tray base and provided with reflective layer applied to outer surface faced to side opposed to casing cavity. Portion of reflective layer of respective section, image element or screen may have color other than that of remaining portion of reflective layer or screen, whose color is changed.
