FIELD: production of smoking articles which may be positioned on table. SUBSTANCE: ash tray has at least one lens disposed on light-permeable surface of casing base and provided with reflective layer applied to outer surface oriented to side opposed to casing cavity for forming image of respective lens above its surface faced to inner cavity of casing. At least one lens may be provided with focus f other than focus F of remaining lenses, or it may be made from color-carrying light-permeable material of color other than color of casing material. Color-carrying light-permeable coat of predetermined pattern and color other than that of related lens may be applied to portion of outer surface of at least one lens. Lenses may be arranged so that their outer contour defines predetermined image. Lens may be made in the form of Fresnel lens with reflective layer applied to its profiled surface. Profiled surface of at least one Fresnel lens may have geometrical configuration providing formation of predetermined images defining working zones divided into groups making predetermined images. Each group has at least two zones with different focuses created due to inclination of working zones edges. Fresnel lens may be formed from at least two sections in the form of predetermined image elements, which may be arranged on curvilinear surface of casing base at an angle one relative to another. Portion of reflective layer corresponding to at least one section or at least one lens may be made in the form of predetermined image or its element and/or its color may be other than that of remaining surface of reflective layer or of color of lens, whose reflective surface portion color has been changed. Ash tray may have lens, including Fresnel lens, manufactured from light-permeable material and made as integral part of casing base.
