FIELD: medicine; traumatology. SUBSTANCE: method consists in bending of ladder module in the form of rectangular frame with transverse partitions and forming of bearing segments and bends between them, with stabilizing members in the shape of twin symmetrical rod-type brackets formed of module frame. Brackets are used to couple side surfaces of adjacent bearing segments at points selected so that relation of lengths closed by brackets on bends of segment sections is proportional to relation of lengths of respective segments. In this case rod-type brackets are made by bending the part of module through 180 deg at segment end, by positioning this part on the same segment, removing the transverse partitions on required length, securing the module frames at selected symmetrical points, by subsequent bending it out and throwing it over bend and fastening it to adjacent segment at selected symmetrical points either. When forming the brackets and bending out module part the latter is positioned on contact surface of adjacent bearing segments or on their rear nonoperative surface. manufacture of splints it always started with formation of bearing segment or segments more extended in length. EFFECT: more effective construction. 4 cl, 25 dwg
