FIELD: medicine, in particular, traumatology and field surgery, more specifically, methods of manufacture of splints for immobilization of injured bones. SUBSTANCE: method is realized by interconnection of stair modules in the form of rectangular frame with lateral partitions and their bending to form supporting segments, bends between them and formation from module frame of side stabilizing elements in the form of pair-shaped bends with their parts brought together at their base and twisted at the base level. Bends are made at any part of splint and brought together parts are twisted by rotating the bend round its axis with turning through an angle of at least 540 deg, and then protectors of respective shapes are placed on made bends in the form of cover from facing material taken from group including rubber, plastic, cloth or some other suitable material, and then, only after placement of protectors on their bends, catchers are formed on their ends in the form of hooks, or eyes, or loops. EFFECT: manufacture of splints possessing high rigidity and fixing characteristics guaranteeing reliable and prolonged immobilization of injured bones of skeleton and also prophylaxis of complications in prolonged transportation of wounded and injured personnel. 4 cl, 60 dwg
