FIELD: devices measuring density of liquids; oil and chemical industries. SUBSTANCE: active element of submersible transducer is made in the form of two-layer cantilever composed of metal and ceramic plates. Metal plate is attached to base over length exceeding five thicknesses of ceramic plate. Active element is place into case with holes. The largest distance between active element and case does not exceed 0.05 length of sound wave in liquid on frequency of resonance of active element. Area of clearance between edges of active element and case should be not less than 0.25 area of active element. Inherent resonance frequency of case is higher than resonance of active element. To reduce error related to attachment of active element transducer may be fitted with second active element identical to first one. In this case active elements and base form tuning fork. EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement of density and sensitivity of transducer. 2 cl, 2 dwg
