FIELD: structural seismology, evaluation of intensity of vibrations with due account of properties of soils making up construction site. SUBSTANCE: excitation of seismic vibrations is carried out in soil by means of vibration source, these vibrations are recorded by geophones located on sections with different engineering-geological conditions and inclination angles of ground surface are measured in region bordering on vibration source. Increments of vibration force are found from relation , where θ1 is inclination angle of ground surface of tested soil bordering on vibration source, radian; θ2 is inclination angle of ground surface in region bordering on vibration source, radian. Degree of seismic effect is evaluated by values of nonlinear increments of vibration force. EFFECT: improved authenticity of process. 2 tbl
