FIELD: transport engineering; vehicle employing gravity forces for movement. SUBSTANCE: gravity-operated carrier has body 1 with toothed racks 2. Racks 2 are meshed with worm 5 with left-hand and right-hand threads on edges. Free ends of racks 2 are connected with ends of rods 11 and 12. Two the carrier, worm 5 is rotated by handle 6 in clockwise direction. Rack 2 lowered by end of rod 12 presses on wheel rim, thus creating torque. Braking and reverse motion are provided by rotating handle 6 of worm 5 in counter-clockwise direction. Use of two toothed racks 2 in meshing with worm 5 increases the zone service by carrier many times. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 1 dwg
