FIELD: petroleum product additives. SUBSTANCE: depressant is prepared by interaction of synthetic C21-25-fatty acids with polyethylenepolyamines at acids to polymers weight ratio (2.5-7.0):1. Depressant is added to residual oil raffinate boiling away above 490 C, exhibiting viscosity 19.9 sq. mm/deg and initial chilling point 54 C. With 0.25 to 2.0 wt % additive, chilling point drops to 27-42 C, whereas maximum temperature depression with prototype depressant does not exceed 3 C. EFFECT: essentially increased temperature depression. 2 tbl
