FIELD: corrosion protection. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protecting parts of oil-production equipment manufactured using powder metallurgy technique and may be utilized for protecting equipment in high-mineralized aqueous media, optionally containing hydrogen sulfide. To this end, materials are impregnated with sealing composition containing 5-7 wt % of polyvinyl alcohol, 0.02-0.2 wt % of water-soluble corrosion inhibitor, and water followed by hardening. water-soluble corrosion inhibitor may employ dithiocarboxylic acid zinc salt or derivatives selected from diantipyrylmethane series.
