FIELD: thermal engineering. SUBSTANCE: double-cone premix burner primarily has two hollow conical bodies 111, 112 inserted in each other in direction of flow, their middle axes 113, 114 being relatively shifted. Adjacent walls of both bodies form tangential slits 20 in longitudinal direction to admit combustion air. Gas-exhaust holes 117 are provided in walls of both bodies which are uniformly distributed in longitudinal direction. Air is actuated in tangential slits 20 by vortex generators 9 some of which are arranged close to each other along slit. Fuel is supplied to slits 20 in vicinity of vortex generators 9.
