FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to finishing operations and is intended to be used when cutting ceramic tiles, slag glassceramic tiles, roof tiling, glass, and so on. Device contains base with adjustable stop and measuring ruler. The base supports two rectangular guides and, mounted on them for possible displacement, incising and breaking units. There is a mechanism in the device to adjust distance between guides and base made in the form of spring- loaded bushing fixed on arm rigidly attached to the base and provided with adjusting wing nut. Guides pivot on the bushing and have rubberized clamping surfaces located on the side of base and being parallel to the latter. Device is also supplemented by additional breaking unit consisting of two stops rigidly fixed on upper part of guides and breaking member mounted on incising unit for possible limited rotation.
