FIELD: construction, particularly finishing works, namely working stone or stone-like materials, for example cutting of frangible sheet materials, namely ceramic or slag glass-ceramic tiles.
SUBSTANCE: tile-cutting device comprises working base, tubular guiding means connected to working base by means of posts, slider with rolling axis installed on tubular guiding means so that the slider may perform movement in longitudinal direction and rocking beam pivotally connected to slider. The rocking beam is made as double-arm lever provided with cutter on the first free end thereof and with tongue-shaped breaking unit connected to the second lever end. Control arm is pivotally connected to rolling axis and rocking beam. The control arm is spring-loaded against rocking beam in circumferential direction and may urge breaking unit towards working base. The rocking beam is provided with stops to cooperate with control arm and to transmit force therefrom to cutter or breaking unit.
