FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: this is used in securing underground fresh water from fouling, particularly at cleaning fouled water-bearing beds in development of oil and gas deposits. It allows for reduction of energy and material expenditure and for accelerated purification of fouled water-bearing beds containing fresh drinkable water. According to method, determined is area of contamination. Then, purifying water is pumped through injection wells, fouled water is withdrawn and its quality and amount is controlled. In construction of fouled water withdrawing well by drilling, additionally opened is deep underlying utilization bed, and fouled liquid is directed into it. Simultaneously created is depression brought to bear on fouled bed, and repression on utilization bed. Injection wells are constructed beyond perimeter of fouled bed. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
