FIELD: double-barreled submachine gun placed in a case. SUBSTANCE: prior to use, the submachine gun is kept in a case in position, the barrels are turned in vertical plane and cocked. The case flaps are fixed, and the flap opening mechanism is cocked. Magazines are joined to submachine gun, additional magazines are kept in the case pockets. Both block carries are in the forward position, cartridges are not fed. The round sequence control mechanism is in the preset position. When the button is pushed, the case opens under the spring action releasing the submachine gun. The barrels are turned under the spring action and pressed to the receiver by the spring latch, and the mechanical latch fixes the barrels. At the same time the free end of the flexible plate rests on the shoulder of one block carrier and displaces it to the extreme backward position; the trigger mechanism gets cocked. Being engageable with the inclined surface of the lug, the flexible plate releases the block carrier, which under the action of the return spring moves to the forward position catching a cartridge from the magazine by the block lug. The other block carrier is in the forward position. When the trigger is pulled, a shot occurs and powder gases through the gas passage act on the block carrier gas piston displacing it to the backward position and extracting the cartridge case.
