FIELD: automatic weapon with a semi free breechblock.
SUBSTANCE: the automatic weapon has a barrel, receiver with lugs, locking mechanism including the breechblock with lugs, breechblock carrier and the return spring with the guide, firing mechanism, feed mechanism, sighting device, muzzle-cap device, retaining components. The breechblock lugs and the receiver lugs are made with bearing surfaces positioned with a certain clearance between them for a shift during development of the shot of the locked breechblock propped up by the breechblock carrier backward by the value of this clearance.
EFFECT: simplified construction of the automatic weapon, reduced weight of it, overall dimensions and reduced dispersion of bullets at a fire by bursts.
