FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: transformer has magnetic core 1, high-voltage 2 and low-voltage 3 windings, high-voltage 4 and low-voltage 5 screens, high-voltage bushing 7, all mounted inside common grounded screen 6 installed in internal molded insulating case 8. Additional grounded screen 10 is made of semi-conducting material and mounted on external surface of internal case 8 congruent to the latter, its height making up 0.6-0.7 of transformer height. EFFECT: improved reliability of transformer due to uniform distribution of electric filed built up around high-voltage bushing in the course of transformer operation. 1 dwg
