FIELD: color television systems. SUBSTANCE: in color television system color signals generated by lumochromic integrated circuit 154, are summed up by integrated circuits 171, 173, 175, 177 to generate signal presenting processed brightness information which is otherwise difficult of access. Pulses of summed signal corresponding to pulses which terminate their flyback and which are contained in color signals are removed to diminish error when indications of summed up signal are determined by averaging detector 183. Detector generates controlling signal for videochange of brightness signal such as "white pull". EFFECT: improved functional reliability of generator. 6 cl, 3 dwg
