FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves performing continuous and simultaneous measuring of temperature within two control eggs, with one egg being in laying bird's nest and other egg being in incubator; comparing measurement results and, in case temperature difference is detected, changing air temperature in incubator to obtain equal temperatures within eggs in nest and incubator. Apparatus has systems for altering spatial position of eggs in incubation zone and creating required humidity and temperature modes in this zone. System for creating required humidity and temperature modes has measurement unit, whose inputs are connected with outputs of two temperature sensors in control eggs positioned in laying bird's nest and in incubation zone. Output of measurement unit is connected through control unit to control inputs of actuating mechanisms for regulating air temperature in incubator to create required humidity and temperature conditions.
