FIELD: medicine, cardiology. SUBSTANCE: method deals with measuring both a heart beating rate and arterial pressure at lying down position and at transition into vertical one. Higher heart beating rate by 24 beats per a minute without a decrease of arterial pressure by 15 mm mercury column and more is considered as sufficient compensating reaction. A decrease of pressure by 15 mm mercury column and more at increased heart beating rate by less than 24 beats per a minute is considered to be manifestation of lower compensating possibilities of cardiac-vascular system.
