DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUE FOR ESSENTIAL HYPERTENSION AND NEUROCIRCULATORY DYSTONIAS Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC A61B5/21

Abstract RU 2377949 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely - to cardiology. The functional condition of cardiovascular system is examined in rest and after intellectual-emotional load of verbal level. The obtained results are compared among themselves and to the reference values taking into consideration the anthropometric data of the patient. It is followed with differential diagnostics by means of the tables characterising type of vegetative activity assurance in intellectual-emotional load. That involves heart rate in beats per minute (HR), measuring systolic arterial pressure in mm Hg (SAP), diastolic arterial pressure in mm Hg (DAP), and calculating average dynamic pressure (AvDP). The reference arterial pressures SAP, DAP and AvDP are as follows: age 17-18 years old - 130, 80, 96; 19-39 years old - 135, 85, 101; 40-49 years old - 140, 85, 103; 50-59 years old - 145, 90, 108; 60 years old and more - 150, 90, 110. In the patients with sinus rhythm, table 2 of the description is used to determine the state of cardiac pacer, while table 3 is referred to determine the state of arterial pressure. Thereafter, taking into account the state of cardiac pacer and the state of arterial pressure, table 4 of the description is used for the preliminary advice. Then intellectual-emotional load (IEL) is presented, table 5 of the description is referred to determine the alternate reaction of hemodynamic parametres. Then considering the preliminary advice and the alternate reaction of hemodynamic parametres in response to IEL presentation, table 6 is used to determine 54 alternate diagnostic advices in the patients with apparent or latent essential hypertension and "НЦД".

EFFECT: method extends the range of means for differential diagnostics of essential hypertension and neurocirculatory dystonias.
