FIELD: equipment for shuttleless weaving looms. SUBSTANCE: the offered picking mechanism has picking stick for interaction with weft inserter. Picking stick is installed on torsion shaft by means of tube carrying single-arm lever with roller kinematically connected with oil brake engageable with picking cam for loading and unloading of torsion shaft freely installed on drive shaft and connected with it by carrier rigidly connected with drive shaft. Kinematic connection of single-arm lever with oil brake has cam rigidly connected with picking cam and with spring-loaded double-arm lever connected with it. One arm of double-arm lever carries roller for engagement with cam, and the other arm is connected with plunger of oil brake. In this case, cam of kinematic connection is made so that when picking stick is engaged with weft inserter, double-arm lever is located in position of standing. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 6 dwg
