FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: regulator has finger 14 of maltese-cross mechanism fixed to drive shaft 15, maltese cross 10 and worm connected with maltese cross 10. During operation of weaving machine, upon laying and knocking of each filling thread finger 14 rotates maltese cross 10 and worm 9, which is positioned on drive shaft 15 for free rotation and connected with maltese cross 10 by multiplier. Maltese cross 10 is fixed on shaft 13 positioned in parallel with shaft 15. Wheel 1 of worm gear is kinematically connected with stripper 2. Multiplier has toothed pair. Driven gear 11 of gear pair is rigidly connected with worm 9 and driving gear 12 is connected with maltese cross 10, which is provided with five slots. Worm gear is made four-threaded. Multiplier positioned between maltese cross 10 and worm gear 9 allows worm gear loading to be reduced.
