FIELD: materials handling; hydraulic drives. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic drive has pump connected with safety valve and hydraulic distributor which is connected with hydraulic tank and flexible pipelines, It has also hydraulic cylinder with rod and rodless spaces. Hydraulic distributor in one of its positions connects hydraulic line from pump and safety valve with hydraulic lines connecting hydraulic distributor with rodless space and with rod space of hydraulic cylinder. Hydraulic line laid to rodless space of hydraulic cylinder has noncontrolled throttle. Hydraulic line laid to rod space of hydraulic cylinder has check valve providing free passage of working fluid from hydraulic distributor to hydraulic cylinder, and hydraulic line connecting hydraulic distributor with hydraulic tank is closed.
