FIELD: checking object states in power supply systems, in particular, for electrified railroads. SUBSTANCE: method involves computer processing of information from controlled objects and output of computer generated pictures to color projection screens of projection displays, telemetry signals from object are sent to first computer, which is connected to second computer through network, output of data from first computer to screen of first projection display which permanently displays mnemonic chart of controlled objects with map symbols of controlled objects. Output data of second computer are displayed on screen of second projection display which shows detailed map of controlled object or its part which is chosen using color pictures of corresponding tested object in piece of mnemonic map on screen of first projection display. EFFECT: possibility to achieve functions of traditional dispatcher instrument panels for large number of controlled objects using minimal number of computer equipment and projection displays. 1 dwg
