FIELD: computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: source request is sent to input of information gathering and interface unit and is processed in information processing unit and is received by one input of two parallel detection units through commutation and communication unit. Finally these data are sent to input of computer of main database. Input of information processing unit also receives information about descriptive features of extended classification of objects for recognition. Extended classification is generated by preliminary classification unit. Corresponding device has serial circuit of two information units which are connected to two external information retrieval systems. Required detection unit is connected according to level of detected object depending on commands from control unit which is controlled by information from computer of main database.
