FIELD: amateur and sportive fishing. SUBSTANCE: fish catching device has post with winder, lever, thrust and spring deviation regulator. Lower end of post is sharpened. Lever is pivotally fixed on post. Line fastening member, step and movable stop are positioned on lever. Flexible member attached to one end of movable stop is adapted to be wound about lever to obtain one or two coils with following insertion of flexible member ends into slots of movable stop at side adjacent to thrust. Second end of flexible member is attached to plate, whose front part is fastened to spring. Plate is provided with V-shaped thrust and projecting portion extending along curved line. Front edge of projecting part of plate is made beveled. In the initial state, lever step is in contact with outer part of plate projecting part to provide system balance. Lever step is movable in radial direction relative to lever pivot joint. Plate projecting part may be in contact with lever step at inner side as well. In such case, projecting part may be made triangular, trapezium-shaped or curved. V-shaped thrust may be positioned in plate front part. Spring is fastened to plate middle portion. Plate is provided with grip for moving tapping mechanism to the initial state. Movable counterweight is mounted on lever to impart higher sensitivity to fish catching device.
