FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has oscillator producing electromagnetic millimetric band waves and receiver for reading object radio response, emitting and receiving aerials set in radio wave communication through the object. Piston unit making contact to the object under examination is composed of receiving aerial-applicator unit of the receiver used as piston and hollow cylinder manufactured from radio transparent material which length along the generatrix is not less than the cross-section diameter of the receiving aerial-applicator unit having removable insert manufactured from non- wettable radio transparent material mainly having the form of drink glass. The receiver is radiometer operating in the long wave band of extremely high frequency bandwidth - of centimetric, decimetric, metric and/or radio bandwidth. EFFECT: wide range of functional applications; simplified examination method. 2 dwg
