SUBSTANCE: air-operated hammer has a handle, body with a striker, chipper located in the body and resting on a box installed in the body in a spaced relation in radial direction and resting on the body through a flexible member in axial direction. The radial clearance between the body and box is of a non-round shape and filled with elastically damping material, having at least one transverse hermetic layer. An additional elastically damping member and a thrust washer are installed in axial direction between engageable supporting surfaces of the chipper and box. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 dwg
