FIELD: mechanical engineering; pneumatic and gaseous-dynamic plants. SUBSTANCE: suppressor has body in the form of hollow cylinder one of whose ends is joined to inlet contraction. Body accommodates antishock device that has piston in the form of shaped cone that faces gas flow and is supported by spring with adjuster secured on second end of body; body has holes inclined through 45 deg. to its axis. At least one stack having two barriers and one washer is mounted on outer surface of body; holes in the latter are aligned with shaped holes of first barrier shaped as supersonic nozzles which are, in their turn, aligned with slits of second barrier made on external edge side and inclined through 30 deg. in direction. Dependence for determining critical sectional areas of supersonic nozzles is given in description of invention. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwg
