FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to constructing canals with counterfiltration screen in earth bed and can be used in creating additional canals in operating irrigation systems without stopping water supply for watering agricultural crops. According to method, arranged in bed is counterfiltration screen to be made in the form of flexible pipeline which is turned inside out under pressure of working agent. Side walls of counterfiltration screen are secured on canal embankments. Then, working agent is removed from turned inside out flexible pipeline and water is delivered above it. Hollow created by turned inside out flexible pipeline is filled with quick hardening mortar. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 6 dwg
