FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in heap or pressure lixiviation of metals from ores. Method for electrochemical lixiviation of ores implies formation of antifiltration base, arrangement of pile of pyrite ores on this base, placing of electrodes in pile, supply of direct current to electrodes, and delivery of solutions into mass of ores through perforated pipeline. Value of voltage on electrodes is adjusted depending on kind of inclusions contained in pyrite. In case, silver is contained in pyrite, electrodes are supplied with voltage of 0.62 V. If titanium is contained in pyrite, electrodes receive voltage of 0.45-0.50 V. In result, due to appropriate correlation of process parameters and value of electrode potential of minerals lixiviation process is optimized with subsequent reduction of power consumption.
