FIELD: fire-direction systems. SUBSTANCE: artillery piece has commander's cupola with laser range-finder mounted on turret and equipped with angle-of-turn sensor coupled with on-board computer. Angle-of-turn sensor responding to turret turn relative to chassis has two outputs; its second output connected to second input of location detecting equipment; gyro indicating system is located in artillery piece turret. Night-vision device adjusted to laser range-finder is placed in commander's cupola. EFFECT: reduced orientation and guidance time, provision for realignment during shooting and for measuring angles and ranges to shelter ridge. 2 cl, 2 dwg
