FIELD: firing from barrel with helical grooves by finned projections with ready-made grooves as well as by grooved ammunition with overcaliber stop on loading gear. SUBSTANCE: at feed of projectiles with ready-made grooves the projectiles slide over chamber surface, taper junction come out to beginning of grooves and get in barrel grooves or in the zone of groove starts made due to chamfers on the barrel projections; with further motion in the barrel the projectiles turn with starts to fields, i.e. with chamfers to the barrel grooves. At feed of projectiles stabilized in flight by the fin a projectile is brought out to the filed in the barrel due to taper junction from the chamber surface to the surface of fields and further by ribs of dihedron formed by chamfers and faces of barrel grooves and surface on the fields. The stabilizer fit bourrelet is brought out to fields by the junction, then either by ribs of the dihedron or by chamfers on the barrel projections inclined to the plane that is tangent to surface of grooves in the middle of projections it is directed to the surface of barrel fields. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 8 dwg
