FIELD: radio engineering, television. SUBSTANCE: system controlling convergence of collection of vertical formats having corresponding rasters with different vertical heights has selector 4 for initiation of operation in one of possible vertical modes and circuit 40 generating signals of correction of convergence responding to selector. Correction signals are generated by known values of correction of convergence and by way of interpolation of known values. Values of correction of convergence may be memorized and processed in sequence by digital circuits and interpolation may be carried out by analog circuits. Circuit generating signals of correction of convergence may have digital data storage 46 for various groups of values of correction of convergence for generation of selective groups of signals of convergence for various vertical modes or formats, for example, for rated and rescanned modes. Groups of values of correction of convergence determine various groups of lines of grid and rows of horizontal scanning lines. Adjacent lines of grid for various vertical formats are spaced by different intervals from each other. Intervals between adjacent horizontal lines of grid are bigger for vertical formats having resters with bigger vertical heights. Interpolation circuit 40 for processing of known values of correction of convergence reacts to operation of circuit of horizontal scanning. Interpolation intervals can be so adjusted that they correspond to frequency of horizontal scanning. Number of interpolation intervals conforms to number of horizontal lines of scanning in each row. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of system. 15 dwg
