FIELD: induction heating of transported articles having local zones of heating with their subsequent stamping. SUBSTANCE: invention reverse to devices heating band of body of sparking plug of internal combustion engine with its later upsetting for sealing of sparking plug. Heater includes transportation element, high-frequency transformer with immobile primary and mobile secondary windings positioned in plane of transported articles. Heating inductor, current lead connecting secondary winding of transformer with heating inductor and secondary winding are fabricated in the form of one flat plate. EFFECT: simplified design, diminished losses of electric energy due to decreased masses of heated parts and heating by inductor only at moment of upsetting of band of body of sparking plug.
