FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: coded lock has body, working member installed in body and capable of displacement, coding member provided with control handle and made in the form of shaft with blocking component which carries working and false recesses for interaction with working member. Longitudinal axes of working member and coding member are located in mutually perpendicular planes. Working member has working and false recesses and is installed for possible displacement relative to blocking component so as to ensure withdrawal of blocking component from working recess of working member. In this case, longitudinal axes of working member and coding component can be located not only in mutually perpendicular planes but also in parallel or inclined planes.
