CONTINUOUS-ACTION WINNING MACHINE Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: machinery and equipment for mining industry. SUBSTANCE: continuous-action winning machine is intended for extracting and loading out minerals deposited in seams such as coal. Machine is made up of extraction line formed from sections of extraction trough, transportation line formed from sections of transportation trough, and movable endless working chain which carries conveyor members and skimmer members which are moving along extraction and transportation lines through end setups. One of end setups is located in zone of drive station. Related to drive station are taper-shaped deflecting drum with guide members for transportation and skimming members, power-driven sprocket arranged in deflecting drum coaxially to axis of last drum, bevel gear transmission which accommodates journal of deflecting drum, and drive unit in the form of electric motor. Skimming members passing through drive station protrude in zone of deflecting drum by their extracting bits located at side of lying wall of mineral seam beyond contour of deflecting drum and transmission housing. Axis of deflecting drum is inclined relative to vertical line to such extent that skimming members in lowerest zone of trajectory of their movement around deflecting drum by their extracting bits located at side of lying wall of mineral seam will open lying wall of mineral seam in free cutting zone. Mounted on drive station base frame are skids which are included in free cutting zone. Drive unit can be made in the form of linear setup which is connected to power-driven sprocket through bevel gearing in which driving gear runs around journal. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 7 dwg
