FIELD: turbine steam distribution systems. SUBSTANCE: control valve has steam box, within which are disposed diffuser seat, guiding sleeve and locking-regulating device with cup having flat bottom and convex-concave profile of working side surface, which defines, in conjunction with inner surface of steam box and seat, annular confusion channel, when working side surface is in its fully open position. Working surface of cup extending from its fitting diameter to bottom defines confusion channel with narrowing rate of 0.65-0.75 and outlet section area less than seat neck area, with cup bottom diameter making 0.4-0.5 of fitting diameter. EFFECT: increased efficiency within the working range, provision for keeping high economy level and enhanced reliability in operation. 5 dwg, 1 tbl
